Ognjen Tadić

Ognjen Tadic was born in Sarajevo in 1974. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, did his Master's degree at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Banja Luka.

He is a political activist since 1990 and a Chairman / Deputy Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a Vice President of the Serbian Democratic Party and the delegate to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM). Previously he held the positions of chief of staff of the President of Republika Srpska, the Advisor for Social Affairs of the President of RS, Political advisor to the President of RS, member of the National Assembly of the RS and the permanent parliamentary observer at the Assembly of the Western European Union (WEU).

He practiced law from 1999 to 2011. He was a member of the Executive Committee of the Bar Association of Republika Srpska and the president of the Lawyer’s Assembly of the Region Banja Luka. As a lawyer he was mainly engaged in commercial law and was a legal adviser to the director of the Republic Customs Administration of RS, director of the Agency for Medical Products of Republika Srpska, legal adviser to the director TELEKOM of RS, legal adviser to the director of PETROL and numerous other public and private companies. He was a member of the Presidency of the Association of Lawyers of RS.

Ognjen Tadic was in journalism from 1990 to 1998. He was a fellow worker at RTV Sarajevo and SrpskaTV, and he cooperated with many other news stations in the country and the region.
