João Carapinha

João Carapinha has a degree in Sociology and a Master´s degree on Human Resources and Sustainable Development. He has been working in the NGO sector for almost 20 years in several social intervention projects as coordinator and social worker (from primary prevention of drugs abuse to European adult education projects among others.) and also, as a trainer for NGO leaders regarding the design, management and evaluation of projects, leadership, team management and community development strategies. During his professional career he has based his intervention on non-formal education methodologies.

João was a volunteer at a few NGO´s on a local level and member of the board of the NGO ADBES – Association for Development and Social and Welfare. At the moment he is the educational programs coordinator for Reach Alliance, an initiative from the Foundation Alliance of Civilizations in Macedonia.
