It is with great pleasure and pride that we can announce that Professor Luigi Santacroce has been appointed as the new President of EWB Italy.
Luigi Santacroce is an Assistant Professor in the Ionian Department of the University “Aldo Moro” of Bari, and a senior Consulting Microbiologist of the Lab Service of Microbiology and Virology of the Policlinico University Hospital of Bari. He served as speaker and member of organizing committees in several scientific events, both national and international, and has written scores of scientific papers. The first task of EWB Italy's new leadership will be to organize an exhibition of EWB member Suki Medencevic from USA, by 2019, and a workshop on Science and Diplomacy. He will be assisted by Professor Giovanni Luchena, Professor of Law at Aldo Moro University, Bari and Visting Professor Zoran Vitorovic.

East West Bridge organization - EWB Italy
It is with great pride that we can announce the founding of another foreign branch of the East West Bridge organization - EWB Italy. The task to organize this milestone event has fallen on the able shoulders of our member Simonetta Stefanini. Together with Simonetta, the Founding Members of EWB Italy will be Eng Roberto Moriconi, Sonja Stojanovic and Dr Zoran Vitorovic.
The formal launching ceremony and a conference on East-West relations is planned for December 11 at Pinacoteca del Tesoriere, Rome.
